Doing a Little Makes a Difference

Every little bit counts in life. Sometimes we get caught in an all or nothing approach to the world. That’s the worldview that makes us think things like “If I can’t do my full workout then why even do it?”

When I get caught in those thoughts, I like to fall back on a saying I learned from my middle school basketball coach. “Little things make big things happen.” And so even if you can’t go out and do your full workout, you can walk for ten minutes, do a few sit-ups, jump in place, whatever it may be. It doesn’t matter how small you think your actions are. Those little things will add up to some really big things.
